Heya everyone. It certainly has been quite a while since the last post, a mighty 2 months in fact. There's just so much that has happened in the last 2 months that I'm at a loss of words.. But right now, I'd just like to ramble about the Imperial College Malaysian Night that happened last weekend. Its probably one of the best things that has happened to me in a long time. =D
The show was titled 'kawan' which means 'friend' in english. It tells a tale of 3 good friends back in penang in the 60's and how they grew up with each other. However, they were seperated due to unavoidable circumstances. The tale then continues, but this time continuing with the children of these 3 good friends and how their lives interwine when they get caught in a thrilling series of drama etc etc..
To cut the story short, I felt that it was wonderful. All the work was worth it; all the pain, all the sweat, all the frustration, all worth it. =D I'm a happy man for now but at the same time, I'm feeling a little empty now that the show is over... sigh..
Life goes on..
Back to reality..
I'm swimming in Swimathon 2008 in support of Marie Curie Cancer Care. I'll be participating in the 2.5km distance challenge which will take place on the 19th of April 2008 at ethos swimming pool.
The idea is to raise funds to help fund the work of more than 2,000 Marie Curie Nurses across the UK. Show your support by assisting me in achieving my fund-raising target. You can help me achieve my target via a secure online donation using debit/credit card. If you feel moved to donate, visit http://my.artezglobal.com/personalPage.aspx?SID=228679
I've also set up a blog to update everyone on my progress in preparation for the swimathon. Visit http://aid-spilinmy.blogspot.com for more info.
