As you can't see, I've been tagged by a friend about a month ago ( on the 22nd of april to be exact) and I have successfully procastinated doing this 'tag' thingy mcjiggie. So, now that I have loads and loads of time to do all the blogging that I want, I'm going to do it.
So, here's the basic outline of the tag game:
# Go to Pop Culture Madness site.
# Pick the year you turned 18 years old. (found on the left of the screen)
# Get yourself nostalgic over the songs that year.
# Write something about how those songs affected you.
# Pass it on to 5 more friends.
And I did exactly that. The only part that gets a little confusing is, the part where you're supposed to write about how the songs affected you, which is completely fine. Its just that I don't know most of the songs on the list.
I'll use the ones that I do know, and everyone will just have to be happy about it I guess. =D Here goes:
She will be loved - Maroon 5
I'm reminded of KTJ. Don't know how, or why. No particular memory.
Are you gonna be my girl - Jet
This song reminds me of RBS. You see, I was new to the song and Arvind had let me listen to the song on his mp3 player. So, I was listening closely to the lyrics and I thought I heard "big black boobs" but it was actually "big black boots". And yes, I was embarrassed and I had to live through it for a month.
My happy ending - Avril Lavigne, The reason - Hoobastank, Numb - Linkin Park
All these songs remind me of RMC. It was a craze back then and they'd play it aloud on the radios. Especially 'Numb'. I remember playing basketball to the song on saturday nights almost every time. Till it got to a point where it was almost disgusting. But great memories I tell you, great memories..
I do know some of the other songs, but none of them bring back any special memories. And now I'm going to tag 5 people. Hmm.. On second thoughts, I'm just gonna tag one. Fazril
